Trail of Horrors
22/23-Oct-2015 / 6:30pm
Once again this year, the playground will become transformed overnight into a haunted walk for all the senses. Come out to the playground Thursday October 22nd and Friday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm each night.
The haunt will begin at the cemetery gates and you will make your way around the trail. There will be free cookie decorating inside as well as a canteen that will be selling hot dogs and drinks, and maybe a few more treats.
Admission is $7.– per person.
Feel free to dress up in your best Halloween attire for an evening of fun.
Rain date: Saturday, October 24th.

DYK: Why Do We Celebrate Labor Day?
Labor Day weekend is just ahead. For many of us it marks the unofficial end of summer and the beginning of a new school year.
In the United States and Canada, the first Monday of September is a federal holiday, Labor Day. Originally celebrated in New York City’s Union Square in 1882, Labor Day was organized by unions as a rare day of rest for the overworked during the Industrial Revolution.
Watch Kenneth C. Davis’ illustration of the history of Labor Day from Union Square to today.
