Update 17-Aug-2016: all fires are under control and put out. The fire ban has been lifted as of today after heavy rainfall the previous night. Travel restrictions have been lifted too.

Do NOT make any kind of open fire, NO recreational activities allowed in the woods, NO Off-Highway Vehicle (ATV, dirt bikes, …) activity allowed. Trails are CLOSED!!!
Since Thursday, 4-Aug-2016 several wild fires were or still are raging in Nova Scotia. They seem to be under control.
The Government of Nova Scotia has issued a couple of restrictions affecting recreational activities.
