Province Asking If Public Is OK Paying Tolls To Twin Highways
[©CKBW 18-Jan-2017 ]The Nova Scotia government is asking for public input on twinning some of the province’s highways.
Consultations will be held in locations across the province beginning next week and wrapping up in March.
The presentations are designed to show how the highways can be twinned sooner using tolls.
Government is looking at twinning a 71 kilometre stretch of Highway 103 between exits 5 in Tantallon and 12 in Bridgewater.
There will be two meetings to discuss twinning that section from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Best Western in Bridgewater on February 7 and at the Atlantica Oak Island Resort in Western Shore on February 8.
