The Lighthouse Awareness Art Show is held in the Port Medway Warehouse located in Lighthouse Park by the Port Medway Wharf.
This year, to celebrate Canada’s 150 birthday, there will be a display and sale of old and new crafts in Seely Hall at 1640 Port Medway Road (just down the road from the Warehouse). The show will include craft demonstrations by local artisans.
These juried shows present a wide range of plastic and decorative arts from artists in the Medway River area.
They are must see events!

Coastal communities are rallying to acquire and preserve these historic landmarks. The Medway Area Communities Association is taking on the responsibility of acquiring and maintaining the Medway Head Light in Port Medway.
There have been working lights at Medway Head since 1851. The currently operating pepper-shaker light is the fourth at this site, serving as a tangible link to Port Medway’s heritage as a thriving maritime community.
