Liverpool Fire Department Christmas Parade, 27-Nov-2016
Sunday, 27-Nov-2016 / 6pm
Lineup will start any time after 4:30 with judging taking place at 5:30.
The parade will begin at 6 pm.
The parade route will be as follows:
Leaving Queens Place Emera Centre, across Bristol Avenue, through the parking lot, across Henry Hensey Drive and ending in front of the Liverpool fire hall.

There is no charge for entries in the parade.
There will also be a toy drive for the Salvation Army.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Liverpool fire hall before, during and after the parade on November 27, 2016.
The Ladies Auxiliary annual Christmas Craft sale will also be open that evening after the parade for any shoppers.
There will be hot dogs and hot chocolate at the fire hall after the parade as well as presentation of trophies for best floats as well as visits with Santa.
There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place floats. There is no theme this year, however, Santa is not allowed on the floats. He will make his grand appearance at the end of the parade.

Saturday, November 26, 2016 – Holiday Parade & Fireworks! – Enjoy a captivating Holiday Parade (starting at 6 pm) with 70+ lit floats that will sparkle through down town Bridgewater. (See parade route below) A special visit from Santa and several choirs will also delight the crowd, while Canada Post workers will collect letters for Santa (along the parade route). From 5-7 pm the Efficiency NS Holiday Light Exchange will take place at the Farmers Market (on King Street). Trade in 2 sets of old holiday lights for one set of LED lights. Immediately following the parade, a spectacular display of fireworks will be set off from the historic bridge.

[©2015 novascotia.com] The Christmas on the LaHave event is taking place on Saturday, November 28 in downtown Bridgewater. Event includes a Holiday Parade (starting at 6 p.m.) with 70+ beautifully lit floats that twinkle through Bridgewater’s streets with a visit from Santa. Choirs will delight the crowd along the parade route and Canada Post workers will collect letters for Santa. Immediately following the parade, a beautiful display of fireworks will be set off from the historic bridge. Festival also includes a 4-H Community Forest, where trees are decorated at Riverside Park and at the Brookside Cemetery in memory or in celebration of businesses or of loved ones.
