The 2020 fire-risk season has come to an end and you no longer need to check daily for permission to burn (domestic) brush or have a campfire.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends in USA and Canada !!!
The term “spring forward – fall back” is meant to trigger your memory to set your clocks forward one hour in the spring at the start of DST, and one hour back in the fall when DST ends.
In most of the United States, Canada, and Mexico’s northern border cities when local daylight time is about to reach Sunday, 1-Nov-2020, 02:00h (2am) clocks are turned backward 1 hour to Sunday, 1-Nov- 2020, 01:00h (1am) local standard time instead!
Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on 1-Nov-2020 than the day before. There will be more light in the morning.
Fall clean-up (Sperrgut) for the FoxCreek community takes place in the week starting Monday, 19-Oct-2020 on the regular collection day.

On 2/8-Jun-2020 both our access roads to the FoxCreek community
– Old Kettle Rd from Mill Village to the Fox Creek turnaround
– Medway Harbour Rd, from Hwy 331 to the turnaround have been graded and leveled. The grader pulled all the gravel (and dirt) back onto the roads that was pushed to the side during snow removal.
While the roads look nice and smooth, they are not – smooth.
