Queens County Fair 2022

The annual Queens County Fair runs for five days from 20-Sep to 24-Sep-2022 with Draft Horse Show Classes and Pulls, Oxen Classes and Pulls with log yarding competitions and a relay race for the oxen.
The Light horses compete in riding classes as well as gaming classes.
Several Farms bring their beef cattle to show off their product.

There is something for all ages to enjoy while helping to celebrate our local agricultural Heritage.

Rock The Mersey – Canada Day Celebrations 2022

[Region of Queens Municipality:] July 1 all across Queens,  it will be time to Celebrate Canada! Canada Day events and celebrations are planned in Milton, Caledonia & Liverpool.

Canada Day 2022 promises to be a fantastic celebration of community! The theme for Canada Day 2022 in Liverpool is #ROCKtheMersey. The festivities start at 1:00 p.m. July 1 in Privateer Park, on Liverpool’s waterfront, and conclude with fireworks at dark (approx. 10 p.m.).  See the poster for more information or click here to download a PDF of the poster .

[The Port Grocer, 17-Mar-2020:] New Hours at The Port Grocer! Effective immediately, new hours:
Monday to Saturday from 9 to 2PM.
Our Cafe will be closed for eat-in, no dinners, no pub nights until further notice.
We will be offering a limited menu including coffee/tea, fresh treats daily, soup and sandwiches for take-out. We will be focusing on keeping our Prepared Foods for take home and grocery shelves well stocked. Wednesday Lunch Box to continue, if in demand.
