Artist Andre Haines has been in Liverpool and other areas of Queens County for the past two weeks, painting everyday things – come and see Queens County as Andre sees it.
Andre was introduced to Liverpool a few years ago when he was invited to be musical director for Les Miserables produced by the Winds of Change Dramatic Society, and he fell in love with the area.
He is pleased to be spending this sensitive time in his life, the weeks following the death of his father, in our community, where he feels so supported and appreciated.
He feels a connection here, and has painted the work with his father’s paints and brushes intermingled with his own.
Andre’s work is varied, both in medium (he works in oil and acrylic, as well as sketches) and in subject matter (landscapes, fantasy, portraiture are all featured).
Be sure to come and see this powerful exhibit, and experience the community through Andre’s eyes (Don’t mind the paint!).
We are back again!!!!
