Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends in USA and Canada !!!
The term “spring forward – fall back” is meant to trigger your memory to set your clocks forward one hour in the spring at the start of DST, and one hour back in the fall when DST ends.
In most of the United States, Canada, and Mexico’s northern border cities when local daylight time is about to reach Sunday, 6-Nov-2022, 02:00h (2am) clocks are turned backward 1 hour to Sunday, 6-Nov- 2022, 01:00h (1am) local standard time instead!
Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on 6-Nov-2022 than the day before. There will be more light in the morning.
The next Daylight Saving Time starts on 12-Mar-2023.

There was another short power outage for the FoxCreek community as part of a bigger outage this morning, 26-Sep-2022 from 5:21am to 7:31am ADT (2hours 10minutes). Lightning was reported as cause.
Luckily the original estimated restoration time of 11pm was beat by 15 hours! Thanks NSP.

THIS IS THE FINAL INFORMATION STATEMENT FOR THIS STORM. 1. Full Discussion of the Event. Tropical depression Fiona formed over the central tropical Atlantic on September 15th[, 2022]. The tropical depression became better organized and its intensity gradually increased during the following day when the National Hurricane Centre reported tropical storm force winds near the centre of the cyclone. On September 16th Fiona reached the Leeward Islands while on its way to the western Atlantic. Two days later Fiona quickly intensified into a category 1 hurricane while turning to the northwest and passing through the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.
The FoxCreek community lost power again on 23-Sep-2022/3:40pm and was only restored on 25-Sep-2022/5:26pm ADT (49hours 46minutes) – roughly 17 hours before the (twice postponed) estimate.
The outages from yesterday and today happened way before hurricane #Fiona and hence are not related.
For a while a bigger outage from #Fiona overlayed our outage but got solved before.
The FoxCreek community and the whole South Shore got away easy from the passing of #Fiona and are much thankful about it.
