FoxCreek Community has its own Fire Hydrant
After some planning and waiting for funding approval the Region of Queens Municipality finally ‘installed’ our FoxCreek Community dry fire hydrant*) today, Thursday, 26-May-2022.
The hydrant is located at the Old Kettle Rd turnaround across from civic 612 and replaces the old, defunct hydrant located a little ways before the paving. Continue reading FoxCreek Community has its own Fire Hydrant
FoxCreek Community Access Roads Graded
On (or around) 19-May-2022 both our access roads to the FoxCreek community
– Old Kettle Rd from Mill Village to the Fox Creek turnaround
– Medway Harbour Rd, from Hwy 331 to the turnaround
have been graded and “leveled”.

Power Outage, 18-Feb-2022
Another power outage occurred due to high winds during this severe storm affecting Old Kettle Rd South – including the FoxCreek community – and all the way down to Port Medway.
Power was out from 10:59am to 3:25pm with two power flickers before at 10:06am and 10:54am.
FoxWeather recorded wind gusts of 95kmh at 11:21am though it was far more in the open.
Power Outage, 3-Feb-2022
The FoxCreek community (only) experienced a power outage this morning, Thursday, 3-Feb-2022 from 02:07am to 05:03am.
Investigation showed a popped line breaker at 440 OKR. Reason unknown.
A brief power flicker was noticed at 06:09am, enough to reset clocks and appliances again.
